is on the South Bank, the cultural hub of riverside London, looking out over the Thames and some of the most iconic sights of this great city.
The BFI (British Film Institute) is a four-screen cinema venue showing a huge selection of classic and contemporary films each year, with new and re-releases, film seasons, and director and actor retrospectives. The stretch of embankment in front of the BFI is exciting and always buzzing. That’s exactly the atmosphere you will enjoy in our restaurant, lounge and cocktail bar, fabulous places to meet, eat and people-watch.
There’s always something going on at the BFI. Whether you want a quick recharge between events, a relaxed drink or the chance to choose from a menu that’s big on contemporary British cuisine, you’ll find what you are looking for in this bright, flexible space.
We are very proud of our cocktail menu at the Bar & Kitchen (try one and tell us if you’ve tasted better) and we also stock an eclectic mix of craft beers alongside an adventurous wine list. Relax with your drink in the lounge, or take it with you into the restaurant to enjoy while you check out the menu.
For a more private experience, look for the secret door behind a bookcase. Find it, and you’ve found the way to the Drawing Room – an intimate cocktail bar (which is also available for private parties).
It was recently listed as one of the Top Ten Library Bars in London. The perfect setting to savour one of our signature cocktails.
The Drawing Room is also perfect for hosting a stylish, intimate private party or event.
