What’s more iconic than a traditional Afternoon Tea? The amazing venues it’s served in! We’ve gathered a list of stunning Benugo spots across the UK, plus the gorgeous views or amazing exhibitions you can see too.

Beneath the iconic Cutty Sark at Royal Museums Greenwich is certainly a memorable location for your high tea. The historic and celebrated copper ship was built in 1869 to bring the finest and freshest teas back to London – seems very fitting for the occasion.

At Bletchley Park, join us in the Dining Room in the Mansion House, once used by the World War Two Codebreakers, with stunning views across the grounds. You’ll leave full of the most amazing cakes, including Yorkshire rhubarb & strawberry tart, burnt meringue; and Shortbread crown elderflower biscuit with Bletchley Gin icing.

With iconic surroundings and fascinating history, you’ll work up an appetite for tea in the Cellarium Cafe & Terrace within Westminster Abbey. The terrace has gorgeous views of the Abbey – the perfect setting to take you tea.

If you’re in bonnie Scotland, of course Edinburgh Castle is the place to be. The best views, the best history and the best Afternoon Tea. The Tea Rooms are located in Crown Square and your reservation includes admission to the castle.

Not forgetting the kids…

Afternoon Tea isn’t just for adults at the Ashmolean Rooftop Restaurant, they have a kids’ Afternoon Tea menu too. Your little angels can munch on flapjacks, shortbread, chocolate fudge and also carrot sticks, ham and cheese brioche, plus scones with jam and cream.

Savill Garden Kitchen in Windsor Great Park not only has a delicious Afternoon Tea, pretty gardens all round, but the brand new Adventure Play (seriously, you need to see this). Sit back and enjoy your tea while your little ones tell you all about their adventures.

The Great Court Restaurant in British Museum offers another beautiful setting for Afternoon Tea. With sandwiches such as Charred red pepper and tapenade on spinach bloomer; and cakes including English sweet green pea and lemon cake, you’ll be eager to come back for more. And you’ll have good reason to, as the Young Friends scheme at the museum is now free of charge.
