Ranging all the way from Westminster Abbey to Edinburgh Castle, enjoy elegant hade-made sweet treats, freshly baked scones and delicate finger sandwiches. Afternoon Tea in such iconic landmarks makes for a truly unique experience you’ll remember forever.
The Annings Rooms at Natural History Museum
Natural History Museum celebrates nature with the launch of a new Afternoon Tea, available in this exclusive members’ space boasting unrivalled views of the Museum’s famous architecture.
Aptly named Inspired by Nature, an array of sweet and savoury treats has been expertly created by our pastry chefs to celebrate British farmers and growers and is inspired by nature’s wonders to showcase the very best of British seasonal produce.
Inspired by Nature, priced from £35 / with Prosecco £40.
The Afternoon Tea experience is prebook only but open to all, providing the perfect opportunity to relax after a tour of the museum’s latest exhibitions.
Rooftop Restaurant at the Ashmolean Museum
The Ashmolean’s Rooftop Restaurant sits at the top of the world’s oldest museum. Floor to ceiling glass windows open out onto a large terrace affording terrific views of the picturesque spires of Oxford, which make for a glorious Afternoon Tea setting.
Afternoon Tea is often themed to tie-in with the current exhibition and is served every day between 3pm and 5pm (with last food orders at 4pm).
Great Court Restaurant at the British Museum
Enjoy an unforgettable experience in our Great Court Restaurant under the iconic latticed glass roof of the British Museum’s Great Court. Afternoon Tea is a museum must do – a splendid spread of sandwiches, cakes and scones and perfectly brewed teas.
Afternoon tea is served daily 11.30am to 4pm (last seating 4pm).
Cutty Sark at Royal Museums Greenwich
Beneath the iconic Cutty Sark is certainly a memorable location for your high tea. The historic and celebrated copper ship was built in 1869 to bring the finest and freshest teas back to London – seems very fitting for the occasion.
Afternoon Tea is served Thursday to Sunday, and guests can make their reservation for one of the following serving times: 12pm, 1.30pm or 3pm.
The Mansion House Dining Room at Bletchley Park
Join us in the Dining Room in the Mansion House, once used by the World War Two Codebreakers, with stunning views across the grounds.
You’ll leave full of the most amazing cakes, including Yorkshire rhubarb & strawberry tart, burnt meringue; and Shortbread crown elderflower biscuit with Bletchley Gin icing.
Available on selected weekends throughout the year. Fridays and Saturdays, sitting times of 12pm to 1:15pm and 2pm to 3.15pm, and selected Sundays, a sitting time of 2pm until 3:15pm.
Cellarium Café & Terrace at Westminster Abbey
Inspired by the historic gardens at Westminster Abbey, Creation Afternoon Tea is served at Cellarium, set within the Abbey’s stunning medieval cloisters. Cellarium’s upstairs indoor dining area boasts a glass ceiling with magnificent views of Westminster Abbey.
Highlights of the menu includes Truffle egg mayonnaise; Brioche bridge rolls with hot-smoked trout, creamed horseradish, + baby watercress; Puff pastry vol-au-vents; Pea and red onion tart with lemon ricotta + pea shoots; alongside Passion fruit + chocolate tart; Macaroons; Lemon drizzle cake; White chocolate + pistachio tart; and homemade scones.
Priced from 36.50 per person with Chapel Down available from £10 glass / £55 bottle.
Queen Anne Tearoom at Edinburgh Castle
If you’re in bonnie Scotland, of course Edinburgh Castle is the place to be. The best views, the best history and the best Afternoon Tea.
The Tea Rooms are located in Crown Square and your reservation includes admission to the castle.

Savill Garden Kitchen in Windsor Great Park
