Join us at the Natural History Museum for a magical festive Afternoon Tea, available until 23rd December.

The festive afternoon tea offers an elegant array of festive savoury treats, such as a British turkey and bacon sandwich and roasted butternut, thyme and dried cranberry tart. It also includes festive sweet treats like a winter spiced fruit cake and orange and cranberry scones.

Vegan options are available, ensuring everyone can enjoy this seasonal feast and unlimited tea and coffee accompany the menu, making for a perfect afternoon retreat.

Afternoon Tea and Tour experience 

For those looking to add a touch of adventure to their visit, the Museum has launched an exclusive Afternoon Tea and Tour experience where you’ll see behind-the-scenes on a specially curated guided tour and hear fascinating stories behind the incredible collections.

Ask the Museum’s expert guides their most burning questions while they enjoy an hour-long tour discovering the hidden gems and often-missed specimens across the Museum, before heading for a bespoke festive afternoon tea.

Step back 66 million years in time and dine with the dinosaurs at the T. rex Restaurant. Located in the Green Zone of the Natural History Museum, this family friendly eatery is the perfect place to take your little ones for burgers, mini pizzas and ice cream sundaes. For the grown ups, you can enjoy chicken hot off the grill, fresh salad and stonebaked pizzas to keep you energised on your day out.

Find the Earth Hall Café just to the right as you enter through the Cromwell Road. Hot and cold drinks and a wide variety of ever changing hot food specials and salads.

Currently open during school holidays only for coffee, tea and delicious cakes.

Situated in the stunning Central Hall, this cafe serves up hot and cold drinks, cakes and plenty of sandwiches and salads. Highchairs available.

A shake is a always a great idea, whatever the weather. You can build your own shake or sundae, or choose one from our menu.
