V&A Main Café

The wonders of the V&A include the lavishly decorated, original Victorian refreshment rooms, the first ever to be purpose-built in a museum. Here you can enjoy a wide selection of hot food, salads, sandwiches and cakes as you take in the amazing architecture and décor all around you.

Children are well catered for here – there is a children’s menu at the hot food counter in the main café along with pre-prepared lunchboxes.

Founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, the V&A is the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance. The main Benugo cafes are housed in the beautiful Gamble, Poynter and Morris Rooms which formed the world’s first museum restaurant.
